Chad Duerksen is an author, photographer, filmmaker, and cinema junkie. While movies have occupied much of his life, his first love was books, and he’s been a
voracious reader going back to pre-school. He previously won Best Screenplay at the WINFemme Film Festival for his script ‘My Life In Pictures’ and his debut
feature film, ‘Monologue,’ is currently in post-production.
In addition, he has spent numerous years working with local rescues, helping foster hundreds of cats and kittens over the years. A lifelong fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, he currently lives in Los Angeles with several members of his stories. ‘The Feral Colony’ is his first novel.
